Refund and Returns Policy
Refund Policy for Hashini Herath Music
Effective Date: 3 November 2025
At Hashini Herath Music, we are committed to delivering high-quality music education and services. Please read this policy carefully before making a purchase.
1. Refund Eligibility
- Digital products and online courses are non-refundable once access has been granted.
- UK and EU customers have a statutory 14-day right to cancel digital purchases under consumer law. However, if you choose to begin your course immediately, you will be asked to provide explicit consent at checkout to waive this right. Once access is granted after such consent, no refunds are available.
- If you do not consent to early access, your course will remain locked until the 14-day period ends, during which you may request a full refund.
- For all other regions, refunds are generally not offered once a digital product or service has been accessed.
- We will assist with technical issues (e.g., broken links, LMS errors) but are not responsible for user errors (e.g., wrong email at checkout).
2. Time Frame for Requests
- Requests related to technical access issues must be submitted within 3 days of purchase.
- Coaching session cancellations must be made at least 48 hours in advance to be eligible for rescheduling or store credit.
3. How to Request Support
Contact us at info@hashiniherath.com with:
- Your name and purchase email
- Order/transaction number
- Description of the issue
- Relevant screenshots (if applicable)
4. Refund Method
- Approved refunds are issued as store credit (1 credit = $1 USD), valid for future purchases.
- Cash refunds are only issued in exceptional cases (e.g., duplicate charges, failed delivery with no access granted, or as required by law).
5. Exclusions
The following are not eligible for refunds or store credit:
- Downloadable materials (e.g., PDFs, audio files, sheet music) once delivered
- Personalized services (e.g., 1:1 coaching) if the session has occurred
- Purchases where early access was consented to (as per Section 1)
6. Partial Store Credit
Partial store credit may be considered for unused portions of a service, at our discretion. No guaranteed formula applies.
7. Non-Refundable Fees
All payment processing fees (charged by PayHere or other gateways) are non-refundable and will be deducted from any credit issued.
8. Coaching Sessions
- Sessions may be rescheduled once with 48+ hours’ notice.
- Cancellations or no-shows with less than 48 hours’ notice forfeit the fee with no credit.
9. Policy Updates
We may update this policy periodically. The “Effective Date” above will be revised to reflect changes. Material updates will be communicated via email.
